Canadians win in UA skills competitions

Canadians show ‘em how it’s done.

At UA Canada, we can go on and on about how our members are the best. Employers around the country see it every day, and that’s why they look to us when there’s work to be done. But sometimes, we get the opportunity to prove just how good our members are on the international stage.

Each year, piping tradespeople from across North America compete in the UA International Apprentice Competition. Apprentices have to prove their smarts and pipe wrench wielding skills in a series of theoretical and practical challenges in their respective trades—pipefitting, plumbing, HVACR, welding, and sprinklers.

One apprentice in each trade emerged victorious, stained with grease and glory. And er regularly send champions from our Canada membership.
